New Washcloths for the Kids

Sami was actually very pleased to have this new washcloth made by Mommy, but she was more excited about using it in the bath than getting a picture made with it. Delbert has asked to use his washcloth every time he bathes now!

William and Tracey will each be receiving a washcloth as well. In fact, I have William’s on my needles now. I’m using the P&C Lt. Blue that Kelly sent in my Kitchen Swap package for William’s. I’m not sure what I’ll use for Tracey’s, but I’ll figure something out. I’ll probably knit his as well.

What patterns am I using for the washcloths? Believe it or not, just some lacy dishcloth patterns to ensure a nice, soft cloth for the face. They all come from the booklet Dishcloths by the Dozen or from the yarn label pattern. I told Del that I’m planning on making more for the new house and he said that sounds nice. He really admires my work and wishes he had more time to sit down and crochet with me. Ah, well. I can always teach the boys if I want someone to crochet and knit beside me.
