Stuff About Me
I'm just a Southern gal living in the North Country of New York state with a hubby, 5 kids, a dog and a cat. We'll live, love and create as we share our stories and heartaches.

Bring your yarn, hooks and needles and come sit a spell with me. And when you're done, y'all come back, ya hear?

Poll: What Holidays Do You Celebrate?
Filing: Uncategorized — CatsCradleCreations @ 12:00 pm

Specifically, during the winter holiday season. I’m curious, so vote below and leave a comment. I’ll close the poll Friday, November 17 at 1400 (that’s 2:00 pm for you civilians) EST Thursday, November 16.

Thanks to all who participated. It seems the majority of my readers celebrate either the Jewish or Christian holidays in the winter. Have a safe holiday season no matter what you celebrate.

    Thanksgiving, Chanuckah and my birthday.

I came by via LooneyBin4Sure. Liz is one of my best blog buddies.

I have read a few posts, and I think I might join the Thursday Thirteens, thanks to you.

For winter holidays, I like Christmas, but not just December 25. I like to do all of Advent and the twelve days of Christmas (not that life, work, etc doesn’t continue during those periods). A little meaningful celebrating every day during the season prevents that Dec. 26 hangover ;)

  3. Jared says:

PS I’m a moral retard, too

  4. Caylynn says:

We celebrate Christmas. Christmas, Advent, and the entire holiday season. Advent and Christmas are very big here in Bavaria, which is largely Catholic. I have friends who celebrate many different holidays, however, but finding “Happy Holidays” cards here in Munich, versus “Merry Christmas” is proving to be a challenge. I may have to get crafty and made my own cards this year!

  5. Andrea says:

Christmas is the holiday of choice in my house. Always loved it. Even more so cuz my parents are divorced and that means twice the presents. :)

Thanks for visiting my site and for your service. I agree that the soldiers should be remembered and honored each and every day.
