Thank you, Laura for the lovely star dishcloths! They were waiting for me in the mailbox this afternoon.
Very cool pattern and colors!
Bring your yarn, hooks and needles and come sit a spell with me. And when you're done, y'all come back, ya hear?

It has come to my attention that the Giraffe Glass Cozy’s book is no longer available. Several of us at Crochetville checked with Annie’s Attic and I even checked with Froogle, all to no avail.
With this determination, I will offer completed Animal Glass Cozies at a reasonable price to those who wish to purchase them.
Animals available: Cow, Lion, Dog, Bear, Giraffe, Cat, Mouse
All the animals will be worked in the colors suggested in the pattern unless otherwise noted by the buyer. (Yes, custom colors are available!)
E-mail me for a price quote and information needed to complete the sale.
I’ve got my first glass cozy done! This will be going out with the fire ant to Brendan, and I will be making another one just like it for Ethan.
The pattern I used is from Kid’s Coasters (Annie’s Attic), but I added hair to the front and back of the head. I also did little scrumbles for the spots instead of just outlines. I used RH Super Saver in Buff and Warm Brown for the giraffe, and black for the nostrils and eyes (I embroidered the eyes instead of using buttons).
Here it is:
My mailman delivered a surprise package to me today, and I just LOVE what was in it!! There were three balls each of Lion Brand Microspun and Fun Fur, all yummy colors, and a couple of patterns I’ve been drooling over! Thank you, Fairy Stitch Mother, you’ve made my day!
The penguin I was working on wasn’t doing right, so it got frogged. Instead, I’m working on a couple of giraffe glass cozies. It’s going well and quickly, so I’m hopeful that I’ll get Brendan’s box out soon.
I’m in the final stages of making Brendan’s red ant, and my fingers are SO sore from trying to pull the chenille stems through my tight stuffing job! I’m not going to be able to make any more bugs, but I will still make him and Ethan a penguin each for the zoo. Hope Brendan likes his fire ant; my hubby had to help me pull the last leg through! Here are pics of the critter; now I can get to work on the penguins.

I received a wonderful package in the mail today from a Fairy Stitch Mother! She sent me a soap saver that she made, a double-ended cable hook in size H, and a little notepad for keeping notes handy. I also like the sweet little note she sent. Thank you, Fairy Stitch Mother, you’ve made my day!
